Quotation 07/PMU of 2015-16

Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of
West Bengal, as the executing authority is implementing JICA Assisted West
Bengal Piped Water Supply Project (Purulia) [WBPWSP (Purulia)]. The overall
goal of the Project is to facilitate sustainable development in Purulia
District through implementation of the Piped Water Supply Project. PHED has
established an autonomous Project Management Unit (PMU) under the society mode
in Purulia District exclusively for implementation of the Project.

PMU, PHED now
invites Quotation from Comptroller and
Auditor General (CAG) of India Empanelled Audit Firm to apply in connection
to ” Engagement of Auditor for
Annual Audit and allied works”

Purpose of Audit
Report  :

 This will be placed before different Central and State
Government authorities , JICA and Registrar of Firms, Societies &
Non-Trading Corporation, West Bengal as and when required .

 The brief scope of
work :

 Compilation and verification of Yearly account of Project
Management Unit, West Bengal Piped Water Supply Project (Purulia) by a CAG
empanelled Audit Firm reconciling with closing balance of Bank Account ,
Checking cash book with vouchers, cheque book with vouchers, cheque book
register ,bill register , Payment register etc. by a qualified chartered
accountant and submission of Yearly Audit report related with accounts of
PMU,WBPWSP(PURULIA) as per JICA guidelines.

 Eligible Criteria  :

 (I) Comptroller and Auditor General (CAG) of India
Empanelled Audit Firms with at least 02 years’ experience in similar works in
PHED following NRDWP Guidelines/ Auditing Experience in Schemes/Projects or
other Government Department/ Autonomous Registered Societies.

(II)  Interested agencies may apply for participation
before the undersigned along with necessary documents in respect of following
eligibilities:

a) PAN

b) Experience in similar works in PHED following NRDWP Guidelines/
Auditing Experience in Schemes/Projects or other Government Department/
Autonomous Registered Societies.

c) Service Tax Registration, as applicable

d) CAG Empanelment no

 Application Procedure
:

Participant may download free of cost the offer-document
containing Quotation Notice and Schedule. The proposal should be submitted
off-line to the office of the Project Management Unit, West Bengal Piped Water
Supply Project(Purulia), Pragati Plaza, 5th Floor, Ranchi Road, Purulia
-723101,Telephone No, 03252-224462.

Such submission has to be made in two separate sealed
envelopes –

(i)  One
consisting of Quotation Notice (all pages signed by the applicant ) &
copy of all documents regarding
technical eligibility information. The sealed envelope to be superscribed
as “Technical Proposal”,

(ii)   the second sealed envelope containing the Schedule of works with the rate offered
by applicant and superscribed as “Financial
Proposal”.

Applicants name and address should be
clearly mentioned on both the sealed envelopes.

The financial proposals of technically qualified applicants
will be opened in the presence of the applicants who choose to remain present.

 The Participants will have to submit the Quotation along
with relevant documents as asked for in a sealed envelope superscribing the
name of the work, Quotation No, and drop in the tender box kept in the office
of Project Management Unit, West Bengal Piped Water Supply Project(Purulia),
Pragati Plaza, 5th Floor, Ranchi Road, Purulia -723101, Telephone No,
03252-224462 as per following time schedule.

 Rate should be quoted both in figure and word and should be
inclusive of all taxes and charges as applicable.

 No application through post/courier for participation in any
stage of the quotation process shall be admissible.

The authority reserves the right to cancel/accept all/any
Quotation without assigning any reason whatsoever; no claims in this regard
will be entertained.

Earnest Money @ 2/ 2.5 % (as applicable) shall have to be
submitted during execution of agreement, within a period of 10(Ten) days from
date of issuance of work order.
