1.0   <\/strong>INTRODUCTION <\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/strong>Gujarat Mineral
\nDevelopment Corporation Ltd (GMDC) is a Government of Gujarat Enterprise,<\/strong>
\nestablished way back in 1963, engaged in mining of lignite, bauxite, fluorspar
\nand also in processing \/beneficiating the minerals for value addition and in
\npower generation by establishing 2 x 125 MW Lignite Based Thermal Power Plant
\nat Kutch Gujarat. It also has six wind farm of 150.90 MW at various places in
\nGujarat and a 5 MW solar project in Kutch. It is a company listed on Mumbai
\nStock Exchange (BSE) and National Stock Exchange (NSE), with 74% of ownership
\nby Government of Gujarat.<\/p>\n

GMDC currently mine and produce about 10 million tones of
\nLignite per annum, and is the largest merchant seller of lignite in the country
\nand one of the profitable Public Sector Undertakings in the State of Gujarat. <\/p>\n

The Company desires to appoint Internal Auditors to
\nundertake the Internal Audit for the Period of 3 Years i.e. 01st October, 2015
\nTo 30th September, 2018 to ensure smooth processes of Internal Controls at its
\nall Projects and Corporate Office. <\/p>\n

All projects\/administrative offices of GMDC are divided in
\nfollowing two segments for the purposes of internal audit: <\/p>\n

9. 7.5 MW Wind Mill Project, Gorsar (District Porbandar) <\/p>\n

CA firms are expected to examine all instructions, forms,
\nterms and specifications of the tender. Failure to furnish all required
\ninformation or submission of a Bid not substantially responsive to the Bid
\nDocuments in every respect will be at CA firm’s risk and may result in
\nrejection of its Bid<\/p>\n
