\n(E) In exercise of powers conferred by Section 5 of the Foreign Trade
\n(Development & Regulation) Act, 1992 (No. 22 of 1992), as amended, read
\nwith Para 1.3 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-2014, the Central Government
\nhereby stipulates the following condition for import of scheduled chemicals:<\/p>\n
\n1C of Appendix 3 (SCOMET list) to Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of
\nExport and Import Items is subject to the condition that for each import
\nconsignment, the importer shall, within 30 days of imports, notify the details
\nof import to Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT), National Authority,
\nChemical Weapons Convention (NACWC) and Department of Chemicals and
\nPetrochemicals\u201d.<\/p>\n

\nimporters of chemicals listed at Category 1A, 1B & 1C of Appendix 3 (SCOMET
\nlist) to Schedule 2 of ITC (HS) Classification of Export and Import Items to
\nnotify the details of such imports to DGFT, NACWC and Department of Chemicals
\nand Petrochemicals within 30 days from the date of their importation.<\/p>\n
