In exercise of the powers conferred under Paragraph
\n2.4 of the Foreign Trade Policy, 2009-14, the Director General of Foreign Trade
\nhereby notifies amendment to Appendix 37 A of the Handbook of Procedure-
\nVolume-I (Appendices and Aayat Niryat Forms). This shall come into force with
\nimmediate effect.<\/p>\n

\nat paragraph 2 and 3 of this Public Notice are to be extended on the basis of
\ndescription as notified in Public Notice 52 issued on 25th<\/sup>
\nFebruary 2014, irrespective of ITC (HS) Code mentioned in the shipping bills,
\nfor the exports made between 25th<\/sup>
\nFebruary 2014 and the date of issue of this Public Notice. In such cases, the
\nperiod between 25th<\/sup> February 2014
\nand the date of issue of this Public Notice shall not be taken into account for
\ncalculation and imposition of late cut prescribed in paragraph 9.3 of HBP v1.
\nIn other words, in such cases, for the purpose of availing VKGUY benefits,
\nwhere the exports are made between 25th<\/sup>
\nFebruary 2014 and the date of issue of this Public Notice, the date of this
\nPublic Notice shall be deemed to be date of exports.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Effect
\nof Public Notice: <\/strong>Product description and ITC HS codes of
\ncertain items mentioned in Appendix 37-A, Vishesh Krishi Gram Udyog Yojana
\n(VKGUY) Table 2 of HBP v1 have been amended to bring more clarity. The benefits
\nof VKGUY on exports made between 25th<\/sup>
\nFebruary 2014 and the date of issue of this Public Notice, for items mentioned
\nat Sl. No. 2 and 3 of this Public Notice, shall be admissible on the basis of
\nproduct description alone, irrespective of ITC (HS) Code mentioned in the
